All You Need To Know About Iran Treatment Visa
1- All visitors to Iran must hold a passport or travel document valid for 6 months at the time of departure.
To apply for Iran treatment visa, your passport should have at least six months of validity, beyond your actual travel date.
2- E-visa authorization code/ reference code.
You will need e-visa authorization code/ reference code as a letter of invitation to travel to Iran. In order to get e-visa authorization code for your Iran treatment visa you need to contact your medical tourism agency in Iran, Teratona will help you with your e-visa authorization code by filling out our online form and wait for about 2 to 7 working days (for some nationals it may even take a few days more longer). After receiving your e-visa authorization code from your medical tour agency, then you need to submit this e-visa authorization code to the Iranian Embassy/ consulate where you selected in your application form to receive your Iran treatment visa.
3- Your passport first page image.
It must be sent to your medical tour agency for applying for your Iran treatment visa at Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
4- Filled-out form

5- Personal photo/passport size photo
You can upload your personal photo onto Teratona’s online form
6- Iran Visa Stamp Fee (Payable to the Iran embassy/ consulate in your chosen city upon visa collection).
At the time of visa collection (in your nominated Iranian embassy/consulate), applicants are required to pay fee for Iran visa (Iran visa stamp fee). This fee is separate from e-visa authorization code fee payable to medical tourism agency (E-visa authorization code fee is included in Teratona’s medical tour packages, which it means it is free of charge for Teratona’s clients). The visa fee (visa stamp fee) varies depends on nationality.
7- Refer to the Iranian consulate or embassy where you have specified in your form and collect your Iran treatment visa stamp.
When applying for e-visa authorization code, you will need to specify in your request form which Iranian embassy or consulate you are going to collect your Iran treatment visa.

American, British and Canadian nationals need to travel with a guide while in Iran and they must plan and coordinate their itinerary with their medical tour agency.
American, British and Canadian nationals must follow these steps for obtaining your Iran visa:
1- Find valid medical tour agency in Iran for applying their Iran visa.
2- Choose itinerary for your trip to Iran.
3 -Send passport first image that has at least 6 months validity.
4- Fill out the form, which submitted to you by your medical travel agency.
Your medical travel agency applies for your Iran treatment visa from Iranian MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) which is located in Tehran.
